What's included
Every MidStays home is a real house or condo, fully furnished and equipped for living rather than visiting. That means a full kitchen with a full-size range, refrigerator, and dishwasher; a washer and dryer inside the home; real bedrooms with real beds; linens and towels; wifi; and a professional clean before you arrive. A local manager inspects it first.
That list is a standard, not a wish. It is the difference between a home you can cook in for ninety days and a room you are camping in. When you are staying a month or more, the dishwasher matters more than the view, and the laundry matters more than the welcome basket.
MidStays homes are available for stays of 29 nights up to eleven months. Utilities and any applicable fees are shown on each home's listing and in your quote before you book.
The standard
These are not upgrades and they are not property-by-property. If a home is on MidStays, it has all eight.
Full-size range, refrigerator, and dishwasher, plus cookware, dishes, utensils, and coffee. Enough to cook a real dinner on a Tuesday, not just reheat one.
A washer and dryer inside the home. No shared basement machines, no coin slots, no laundromat trip on your one day off.
Proper bedrooms with proper beds, made up with linens and towels when you walk in. Nothing folds out.
Somewhere to sit that isn't the bed, and a table to eat at. Over thirty days this is the difference between living somewhere and waiting somewhere.
Connected and working when you arrive, so you can take a call or stream something the first night without hunting for a password that doesn't work.
The home is cleaned to a standard before your stay begins — not tidied by the last occupant on their way out the door.
A local property manager physically inspects the home against its listing before you arrive. This is what "verified" means on MidStays, and it is the whole point.
Parking is listed on each home — driveway, garage, covered, carport, or street. You will know exactly what you are getting before you book.
Standard vs. varies by home
The left column is every MidStays home, everywhere, without exception. The right column genuinely varies — so it appears on the individual home's listing rather than as a brand promise. We would rather tell you to check than let you assume.
| In every MidStays home | Varies by home — check the listing |
|---|---|
| Full kitchen with full-size range, fridge, dishwasher | Private pool or spa |
| Cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee | Garage or covered parking |
| Washer and dryer in the home | A dedicated home office or desk setup |
| Real bedrooms with real beds | Pet-friendly, and which pets |
| Linens, towels, starter household essentials | Single-level or stair-free access |
| Living room and dining space | Gated community or HOA amenities |
| Wifi | Blackout curtains and bedroom noise level |
| Professional clean before arrival | Utilities, fees, deposits, and taxes |
| Inspection by a local manager | Grill, fireplace, bike storage, extra fridge |
Utilities and any applicable fees are shown on each home's listing and in your quote before you book. MidStays never bundles utilities into a flat figure, because the real number depends on the property, the season, and how you live.
No. Utilities and any applicable fees are shown on each home's listing and in your quote before you book, rather than bundled into a flat figure. Utilities, fees, deposits, and taxes are configured per property, so the accurate number lives on the individual home rather than in a brand-wide promise.
Yes. In-home laundry is part of the MidStays standard, so every home has a washer and dryer inside it. This is deliberate: over a stay of a month or more, shared or off-site laundry stops being an inconvenience and becomes a weekly problem.
A real kitchen. Every MidStays home has a full-size range, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher, plus cookware, dishes, utensils, and coffee. You can cook properly for the length of your stay, which is the main practical advantage over an extended-stay hotel.
It means a local property manager physically inspected that specific home against its listing before your arrival — the kitchen, the laundry, the wifi, the parking, and the condition of every room. It is a specific action, not a quality rating or a marketing adjective.
That is exactly what the local manager's inspection is for. A local property manager checks the home against its listing before you arrive, so the photos represent the home you will walk into. If something does not match, your local manager is the person who resolves it.
No. Linens, towels, and starter household essentials are provided, along with cookware, dishes, and utensils. MidStays homes are built for arriving with two suitcases, which is why travel nurses and relocating professionals use them.
29 nights. MidStays is built for stays of one to eleven months, and the 29-night floor applies to every home in every destination. Stays shorter than 29 nights are not available anywhere on MidStays.
Many homes are, but it varies by property, so pet policies appear on each home's listing rather than as a site-wide rule. Filter for pet-friendly homes when you search, and check the specific listing for which pets are welcome and any applicable pet fee.
The home is professionally cleaned before you arrive. Mid-stay cleaning varies by property and destination, so check the individual listing or ask your local manager, who can tell you what is available at that specific home.
