A single-level, step-free two-bedroom, two-bath house of 1,545 square feet with room for six, in the heart of Saddlebrooke, a 55 plus active adult community near the base of the Santa Catalina mountains. The mountain views are the reason people book it and the step-free layout is the reason they stay a season.

Inside it is a cozy, well-equipped house rather than a showpiece: a full kitchen with a dishwasher and a coffee maker, a washer and dryer, central air conditioning, and comfortable beds. The mountains are in view from inside as well. There is no cable TV here; the TV streams, so you will sign in with your own accounts.

The covered patio is where a long stay actually happens — a grill, abundant outdoor seating and an outdoor dining table for meals outside, which in this part of Arizona is most of the year.

The community carries the rest: on-site golf, access to tennis courts, and an outdoor pool. For a snowbird stay that is a full calendar of things to do inside walking or driving distance, without needing to plan any of it.

Practical details: two parking spots in the driveway, no street parking, and the garage is not available for your use. This community requires additional check-in documentation before arrival — your local manager will send you the form and handle it with the community office, so budget a little time for that before you travel. Your local manager is also the person to call when something needs attention.
