A two-bedroom townhouse in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson, with a separate office — the room that decides whether a working month here is tolerable.

Inside is bright and well appointed: plush furniture, a large TV, and a kitchen with ample cupboard room and a dining table. The bedrooms are spacious, and the main bedroom has its own private entry to the patio. There is a washer and dryer in the home.

The outdoor patio looks over the hill and valley, and the wildlife arrives on its own — hummingbirds around the patio, the occasional gila woodpecker, quail and rabbit. There is a community pool nearby to cool off in.

Several trailheads sit within a 5-mile radius for hikes into the Catalina Mountain Range, and Sabino Canyon Recreation Area is 10 miles down the road. Jane Hamilton Fine Art, the Campbell Trail and Starr Pass Golf Club are all within a 15-mile radius.

One practical note before you arrive: the garage does not have a remote, and has to be worked from inside the house only.
