A three-bedroom, three-bath house on a private acre in the Catalina Foothills, with 3,611 square feet to spread out in and mountain and city views from the windows. It sleeps six. Over a month or more, the acre of land around you is the part you notice most.

The kitchen is where a long stay actually happens, and this one is a chef's kitchen with premium Italian appliances, open to a formal dining area and generous living spaces. Designer finishes, plenty of natural light and careful craftsmanship carry through the house, so cooking for yourself on night forty feels no different from night one.

Outside there are multiple patios, a sleek ebony pool, and a new outdoor kitchen with granite countertops and backsplash, a four-burner gas grill, an outdoor refrigerator, a sink with hot and cold water, an outdoor ceiling fan and a mounted TV. Pool heat can be added for $85 per night by advance request.

The foothills corridor is well supplied for a long stay. Golf is close at The Gallery Golf Club, El Conquistador Golf and Crooked Tree Golf Course. Trails run through Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, Finger Rock Trail, Catalina State Park and the Santa Catalina Mountains, with the Mount Lemmon Scenic Byway beyond. Shops and restaurants sit minutes away at La Encantada and St. Philip’s Plaza, and Downtown Tucson, Historic Fourth Avenue and the University of Arizona area are an easy drive.

The practical details: air conditioning, driveway parking for four cars with no garage access, no smoking anywhere on the property, and no pets. Check-in is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 10:00 a.m. Quiet hours run from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., and the neighborhood takes them seriously.
