The kitchen is the strongest argument for a long stay here: a large country kitchen with room for two people to work in it at once, alongside a formal dining room. The great room has floor-to-ceiling windows that make the view the main feature of daily life rather than a photo you took on arrival. Outside there is a firepit ringed with comfortable seating and a separate outdoor dining area with a private gas grill.

The house is known locally as the Stetson Hat House - it was owned by the historic Hat Ranch in Williams, Arizona - and it keeps that history alongside modern comfort.

You can walk to uptown Sedona's shops, restaurants and galleries, which is unusual here and makes a month without constant driving realistic. Tlaquepaque, the spas and the trailheads are all close. Verified by a local manager.
