A three-bedroom, two-bath North Scottsdale home of 2,018 square feet with a fully enclosed yard, sleeping up to ten with a maximum of six adults. Golf, shopping and year-round entertainment are minutes away, but the reason this one works for a month or more is that the house itself is set up for daily life.

Inside there is an open living room with a wraparound sofa and a 4k smart TV, a game room with its own 4k smart TV, foosball, an arcade cabinet and a large collection of board games, and a six-seater table for dinners. The kitchen has plenty of counter space, a full set of major appliances and a dedicated beverage fridge and wine cooler. Central air conditioning, WiFi, a private washer and dryer, and a smart TV in every bedroom round out the essentials.

The enclosed yard holds a private pool eight to nine feet deep, deck loungers under an oversized sun umbrella, a covered patio with a fireplace, a gas fire pit, a gas barbecue, a grassy lawn with cornhole, and an outdoor dining table that seats six. There is no pool heat at this home.

Parking is unusually easy for a long stay: two driveways, one that fits two cars and one that fits four, a garage that fits two more, and street parking on top of that. Up to two dogs are welcome, 40 lb maximum each. Your local manager is the person to call when something needs attention.

One local requirement to know about: this city requires a basic criminal background check for the reservation holder, for the safety and security of full-time residents and neighbors alike. A date of birth and a permanent address are needed for the reservation holder in order to run it.
