A four-bedroom, two-bath house in Goodyear, 20 miles from the heart of Phoenix, and set up for a stay of a month or more. The well-equipped kitchen is the heart of the home, open to the attached dining and living area, so cooking most of your own meals is the easy option rather than the chore.
Outside there is a private pool with a waterfall and a putting green in the yard, plus a firepit and a gas grill for the evenings. Over a long stay, a backyard you actually use every week is worth more than a list of features you never touch.
Inside, there is room for everyone to gather around the living room, and board games for the nights you stay in. The location is the practical part: shopping, dining, sports games and Goodyear attractions are minutes away, and central Phoenix is 20 miles out when you need the city.
Two things to sort out before you arrive. Pool and spa heating can be purchased for an extra fee per day — pricing varies with the size of the pool and spa, and it can take up to 48 hours to heat, so ask ahead if you want it on. The city also requires a basic criminal background check for the reservation holder, for the safety and security of full-time residents and guests alike; a date of birth and a permanent address are needed to complete it.
