A stylishly furnished, spacious three-bedroom house on the center fairway of the Tahquitz Creek golf course, with mountain and golf course views, set up for a stay of a month or more.
Sleep is the first thing a long stay tests. Each bedroom here has a new deluxe memory foam mattress, luxurious bedding and 400 thread count sheets, along with a flatscreen TV.
The pool sits wide open to the south western daylight exposure, where the golf course meets the property line and the San Jacinto Mountains fill the foreground. The back patio has a dining table for six with a covered lounge area nearby, and there is an outdoor fire pit for the evenings once the sun drops behind the ridge.
Day to day, you are close to town: shops and restaurants line Palm Canyon Drive, there is a round of 18 or the nearby hiking trails when you want to move, Moorten Botanical Garden is four miles away, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is there for when you have visitors.
Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
