Rio Del Sol Retreat

A single-story, two-bedroom house in the Rio Del Sol community of Cathedral City, with a split floorplan that puts the bedrooms at opposite ends — the sort of layout that keeps a month-long stay peaceful when two people keep different hours.

The kitchen is built for real cooking: quartz countertops, upgraded cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, including a French door refrigerator with a bottom freezer. The open main area has a sun-lit living room with a gas fireplace and an attached dining area.

Down the hall there is a study, which is the difference between working from the kitchen table for thirteen weeks and having a door you can close on the laptop. The primary suite has dual walk-in closets, and the junior suite has a private bath.

Step outside to the extended rear patio and a large lot, with room for outdoor dining and mountain views over the surroundings. The community has a pool and jacuzzi, well-maintained tennis courts, and golf courses nearby.
