Five bedrooms on a large, gated lot in Bermuda Dunes, with easy access to Palm Springs and its shops, restaurants and attractions. The fifth bedroom sits in a separate casita with an attached bath and kitchenette — the kind of arrangement that makes a long stay work when there are two households, or one person who keeps different hours.

The home was built with indoor/outdoor living in mind. An open, well-equipped kitchen flows into the great room and extends out to the furnished patio, and the living area has floor-to-ceiling walls of glass. Outside there is a heated pool with a grotto and waterfall feature and an integrated spa, an outdoor kitchen with bar seating, lounge chairs and a built-in fire feature.

The main bedroom has a king bed and direct access to an outdoor courtyard. A second bedroom has an additional king; the third and fourth guest rooms have queen beds.

There is an optional fee to heat the pool at this home, currently $99 per day. The request should be made at least 48 hours before arrival, and your local manager can take payment ahead of check-in. For stays 29-nights or more, additional discounts may be available. Nearby: the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens eight miles away, the San Andreas Fault line just over four miles away, the El Paseo Shopping District seven miles from your door, and the Stagecoach and Coachella Valley Music Festivals and equestrian events at the Empire Polo Fields.

Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Riverside County regulations prohibit any ’party’ lighting (outdoor luminaires shall not blink, flash, or rotate) and will hold guests liable for any ’light trespass’ on surrounding properties.
